Interesting Backlash

To put an end to the City of Bristol College saga I would like to make it clear that a wildlife rescuer offered to help or put the college in touch with an organisation that could help "fox proof" the car park involved. They rejected the offer. I also contacted them, politely, and explained the situation and also offered my assistance. No response.

The rather hasty and vague response sent out is just that and was only issued after the social media response to the report. My post on this blog included their response so was fair. Some people have called this a false post which it is not and I would never publish a fake news story.

It seems now that there are attempts by "persons" to find out who or where the information (including the name of the pest control firm contacted) came from.  For instance i have had a couple of emails such as this one

"Hi,

Why did you make the blog post saying City of Bristol college will be killing the 2 foxes, when it wasn't true? Where did you get that information from, what's your source?

Thank you"

Unsigned, of course, but the email was from stinkypawz69@  so rude and not revealing his/her name raises suspicion in itself -WHY does stinkpawz69 want the name of the person/source?

Also note that a news story was written that I had nothing to do with (any statements come from people not connected with the British Fox Study) and as I have ignored it have no idea what it says.

As far as I am concerned the matter is in other hands and I have other work to get on with. I suggest the college be far more open in future.
