Wildcats and Ferals Study (1980) -What's Going On?

With all the talk of foxes -dead and alive- as well as badgers -also dead or alive- some might think I have curtailed my work on wildcats and ferals as well as wolverines. I have not.

Looking at wildcats (Felis silvestris) it is as obvious as with foxes that there are a great many misconceptions about them. What is a wildcat? How rare are they now and can they be preserved as a pure species -that last question and its answer may well shock a few and that includes those working in the field itself.

Late summer/early autumn my much -much- updated Wildcats and Ferals (2000) paper will be updated and this time will contain full colour historical photographs to reinforce what I have concluded.

Wolverines are still being worked on.
