am I going to quit and go for a quiet life?

Interesting that on a Friday -so no one can be contacted until Monday (it's an old trick used to worry people over a weekend)- at a time when I am pushing Bristol City Council on local wildlife matters such as the continued use of rodenticides on their allotments and elsewhere and the need for wildlife over/underpasses I get a council email.

Yes, after sending photos of my garden, which is NOT overgrown and out of control, and sending a before winter cutback work the council rep decided that the "before" photo showed the garden was out of control. I keep begging them to take this to court then they stop and wait before starting again. This is all slap-back because I am seen as a pain in the ass and one council officer called me "an environmentalist"!

Labour and Green Party have equal amount of seats so you might assume the Greens would be pushing for more environmental safeguards?  Nope. The ones I have talked to have spoken about the need to "develop Bristol and draw more business in" -THAT is NOT a Green Party and even comparing them top the German Green Party is insulting the Germans!

As "a conservationist" or "Environmentalist" or even a "----- pain in the ass" am I going to quit and go for a quiet life?
