Do Not Pick Up "Abandoned" Cubs

This person posted these photos on a Downend (Bristol) group then deleted them. We need to get to the cub and have it assessed and I hope the person who has had the cub for three days has taken it to a vet to be examined. If not hje should contact the Bristol Fox Lady Sarah Mills asap.

Firstly, the cub is way too young to be by itself so how did the man get it?
Secondly it needs to be checked by a vet.
Thirdly, it has to be fed the correct food because at that age the wrong food can make it very ill and kill it. Cubs need to be looked after by someone who knows what they are doing.
Fourthly; apparently the man says he is going to keep it? Foxes do not make good house pets. First they have a very strong scent that will smell a house out in no time. Second foxes are constantly marking their territory by defecating and urinating and that includes on people and they also dig so if you have carpets and floor boards....
Foxes, even ones reared as exotic pets,m will constantly want to escape and in breeding season they are almost unstoppable which is why so many silver foxes escape each year. Even neutered a fox will still be wanting to get out.

NEVER EVER HANDLE FOX CUBS YOU MAY FIND BUT IMMEDIATELY CONTACT THE NEAREST WILDLIFE RESCUER/SERVICE
